Craps: Screen layout

The Chip Selector

The Chip Selector is located on the edge of the table, and will allow you to select the value of the chips you are betting. At any given time, the chip that is currently selected will look bigger than the others. To select a chip type, click on it; any bets you place will use chips of the value you have selected, until you select a different one.

You are free to mix chips of whatever denomination you choose, although you cannot bet more than 20 credits per bet position and 2,000 credits in total. The only exceptions to this rule are the free odds bets on Pass Line/Don’t Pass Line and Come/Don’t Come, which allow multiples of the original bet as explained in the Adding Odds to Line Bets section.

If you place a chip that is larger than the limit for the selected bet position, the chip will be automatically changed to a lower denomination. For example, trying to place a 50 credit chip on the Pass Line will result in a 20 credit chip being placed.

Note: If there are active arrow buttons by your chip selector, you can click on them to access additional chips of different values. If not, you are limited to the chip values you can see.

The Betting Zones

The Craps table is divided into various zones, each of which represents a different kind of bet that can be placed.  Place bets by selecting the value of chip that you want to bet, and then clicking on the zone (or zones) on which you want to place bets.

Different bets have different rules associated with them, and some have restrictions on when they can be placed.  See Playing the Game for full details of all available bets, and see Craps: Betting Odds for the potential winnings on each.

The Point Marker

The point marker indicates whether a Point has been set or not.  If no Point is set, the marker will be black (“Off”), and located above the Don’t Come Bar; if a Point has been set, the marker will be white (“On”), and positioned above the number that has been set as the current Point.  If the marker is set to “Off”, the next roll will be a Come Out Roll.

The Replay Button

The Replay button is only available to be clicked after a roll of the dice, at which point, the image on the button is animated.  Clicking the Replay button activates a slow-motion replay of the last roll of the dice.

The Result Window

The Result Window shows the result of the most recent roll of the dice, in the form of a close-up of the top faces of the dice.  The result can also be seen depicted on the animated dice on the table itself.
